New -Delhi: With the IPL 2025, which was resumed after a short break, the Capitals from JSW and GMR Delhi will take over against the Gujarat-Titans on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

On the eve of her first game after the IPL reuptake, Delhi Capitals’ all-round Vipraj Nigam said: “We consider it a fresh start. Our focus is on the way we started our campaign from the first game, and we will try to continue this dynamic.”

“We have a few meetings. It is difficult to replace Mitchell Starc, but we grouped ourselves up as a team. We don’t want to think with the absence of players who are not here, but we will try to do our best with the available players,” he added.

Vipraj spoke about his equation with Kuldeep Yadav and said: “The good thing is that we come from the same state and I played a good number of games with him. The IPL is a new experience for me, he has been playing for a long time and sees both as a player and as a younger brother.”

When asked about the importance of cricket and state T20-league domestic state, the 20-year-old said: “The domestic season is always important for an Indian player. You have to prepare for all three formats. If the T20s start early, the IPL will become a good experience for you.

“The State League offers a similar type of experience. It is the same process and the same pressure. I played in the State League in the last two seasons and have had a very good experience. It now helps me in the IPL, the state League plays a very important role,” he added.
