Philadelphia Eagles, who runs back Saquon Barkley, has a career year with an NFL rushing title, a great bowl championship and even the cover of the “Madden 26” video game.

Nevertheless, Barkley recently raised a few eyebrows when he revealed that his retirement plan was similar to that of Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.

“I will probably be one of these guys that it will be out of nowhere. I will probably only wake up for a day, be it in the next or two years or four years, and just say: ‘Yes, it’s over,’, said Barkley in Chris Longs Green Light Podcast.

“… my favorite player of all time is Barry Sanders, similar to that. Maybe one day it will be out of nowhere – I’ll be balling and be so, yes, call it that it ends.”

The 28-year-old Barkley is three years younger than Sanders when the legend of Detroit Lions in 1999 retired the evening before the training camp. Sanders came from his 10th season in a row in a row when he made the shocking announcement.

Barkley is the reigning NFL offensively player of the year after led the league with 345 runs for 2.005 yards, while in 16 games of the regular season he scored 13 touchdowns (everything begins). He also caught 33 passes for 278 yards and two TDS.

He hurried 91 several times in four playoff games for 499 yards and five TDS, which gave him a combined single price record of 2,504 yards to survive Terrell Davis.

Barkley has taken over 1.216 yards and 48 TDs and caught 321 passes for 2,378 yards and 14 points in 90 career games (all starts) for the New York Giants (2018-23) and Eagles.

The Giants chose the second overall in the NFL design of Penn State 2018.
