Nobody has ever correctly predicted all 32 picks in the NFL design. Even the most precise analysts only manage to reach eight or nine players in the right place and the right team.
Maybe it’s time to prepare for the unexpected. Predict the unpredictable. It can’t be more wrong than what has come before, right? It is time to stare into the crystal ball in order to maintain some unlikely scenarios that could hold more truth than expected.
Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty to the New England Patriots
Mike Vrabel has returned as head coach, but the patriots are worse than the Tennessee Titans. Nevertheless, the patriots have to build a solid young quarterback and a line of defense that looks terrifying on paper.
But a large part of Vrabel’s earlier success is missing. Where is his generation return talent?
Enter Ashon Jeant at No. 4.
Vrabel’s best offensive days revolved around a return that refused.
Derrick Henry was almost impossible to dismantle alone and often took two or three attempts to get to the ground. Does that remind you of someone? It should.
Janty’s contact record should appeal to Vrabel immediately, and a new era of the crime could begin in New England.
Ole Miss Dt Walter Nolen will be the first selected defensive tackle
I like Mason Graham (Michigan) just like the next man-to-say-but his status as a top five lock rests on relaxed soil. The concerns about weight and arm length have broken up during the entire draft cycle. Indeed, enough that the Jaguars – which were almost associated with the entire cycle with Graham – can hike in 5th place.
Nolen has a better sack production, better tackles for losses and is a naturally built defensive tackle -interested in the pro game. The teams appreciate the length, especially the team, which is most likely to take a defensive duel after the Jaguaries: the Chicago Bears.
The bears currently have no defensive duel on the squad with arms like Graham. Her last choice in the position was Zacch Pickens, who has 34-inch arms. It is possible that Graham does not hit the benchmark characteristics that the bears normally search for the position – and that it has passed in favor of Nolen.
Nolen has some character concerns, but if his interviews are okay with the bears, we may see how Nolen falls into the teenage in the top 10 and Graham.
UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger is a selection in the first round
Inside LineBacker can be the quarterback of the defense, but they usually do not bear any value in the first round. Most analysts only projected one linebacker on day 1: Jihaad Campbell, who is incredibly sporty, versatile and comes from one of the best football schools of all time.
However, let’s not forget the Los Angeles Rams, who currently only have one player in their middle Linebacker room, which was worked out by an NFL team: Tony Fields. And he shouldn’t even do the roster – shortly before the fifth cord.
Troy Reeder or Omar Speights, in itself, is nothing to complain about, but they are not stars. It is easy to imagine Sean McVay, who wants to consolidate the middle with Schwesinger, a highly advertised local talent with a call as a hard worker from his days as an observer.
His football character will shine in interviews – and his piece will consolidate him as a star in McVay’s defense.
