As soon as Carlos Alcaraz took control, Jannik Sünder could not get his fire back

    -By James Beck

Who wanted this title of these French open men the most?

Of course it was Novak Djokovic.

But what about the remarkable final for eternity on Sunday in Paris?

It could have been Jannik Sünder. And maybe he was the best player until things turned.

Alcaraz had his chances of folding

But Carlos Alcaraz would not let go of the title.

The multitalized Spaniard could have lost when he was opposed to three match points in the third set. But he didn’t.

Alcaraz finally met the winner who decided on this year’s French Open and then dipped the red tone. This one shot was one of many almost incredible pictures on one of the longest days in the history of French Open.

Most of this day was typical of a winner in the alley to meet a forehand. The only difference was that Alcaraz immediately hit the tone this time. Not because he fell into the tone, but because he had won his second French Open Championship in a row.

    Time to celebrate success

It was time for Carlos to celebrate with all of relatives, coaches, friends and fans in his army.

Has a new Rafa Nadal-like dominance adopted the red tone? This certainly looks like a possibility after Alcaraz had won three consecutive sets at the end, to secure a 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (10-2), which had won a large part of the day, the longest French final in the free (5 hours and 29 minutes).

Alcaraz now has five Grand Slam tournament at the age of 22. He has now won two French openings, two Wimbledons and one US Open.

Carlos couldn’t go wrong in the clutch

After Alcaraz came in the fifth set of a long match tiebreaker, he couldn’t go wrong with the first seven points for a 7-0 lead. Then he won three of the last five points of the game Tiebreaker to end the match.

When he blew the three match points in the third set, Sinner played hard, but he never seemed to be the same player when Alcaraz took responsibility. It was all the business for sinners until he blew these three match points.

And of course Alcaraz was on fire when he obtained the rest of the path to the full attention of sinners.

When another Wimbledon is coming up, Alcaraz could be the player in London, with sinners and Djokovic having their own success.

It will be difficult to surpass the last day of the French Open.
