Josh had a hit in four bats and Jace went on a 10:3 win in Texas on Saturday, which ended the Tigers’ five-game victory.

Up to this weekend, the Jung Brothers had been separated on the ball field for a while when they moved by the minors and their professional career.

“When my brother and I were last in the same field, we played together and my father was actually one of the coaches,” said Josh Jung, 27, before the series against the Detroit News. “That was my final year in the high school (Macarthur High in San Antonio). Jace (now 24) was a newcomer. Here we are, eight years later and we are together in a great field. This is something special.”

Detroit has to cool down Shortstop Corey Seaager to start another series. Seaager had a very special night, which smashed two solo home runs and an RBI double on Saturday.

“A frustrating night in which we can get away from today and try to win the series tomorrow,” said Tigers Manager Aj Hinch.

Seaager returned to the plot after clearing two games to rest his Gimpy Oberschelin, who ended up on the injured list last month.

“It is not quite 100 percent and we will have our moments when we have to take a break,” said manager Bruce Bochy. “It (Wednesday) tightened him and they don’t want to risk getting worse.”

With his 19th career-multi-Homer game, Seaager increased his home win.

Reese Olson, who has not allowed a run in three of his last four starts, will take the hill for the tigers.
